The founder and the Managing Director Vipul Kanumale carries a wealth of experience from his tenure as a hotelier of The Universal group in the Maldives. After leaving the Paradise Island Maldives he had the opportunity to represent the group in Seychelles as a country coordinator.

During his tenure, he scaled and created a whole new landscape for the hospitality industry in the region. His unmatched networking capabilities & personalized service enabled him to work closely with global clients and engage them in long-term partnerships.
The wealth of experience led to establishing an international conglomerate that ventures into new markets not limited to the hospitality industry

Vipul Kanumale, a Global Business Visionary With over three decades of experience in the hospitality and tourism industry, Vipul Kanumale has established himself as a respected global business leader. His journey began in 1989 at Lanka Oborey in Sri Lanka, where he quickly demonstrated his exceptional talent and dedication.
Kanumale's strategic thinking and innovative approach led him to prestigious roles within Universal Enterprises, a leading conglomerate in the Maldives. His successful time he spent there earned him the opportunity to expand his horizons to the Seychelles, where he continued to excel.
In the Seychelles, Kanumale's entrepreneurial spirit flourished. He founded Kanumale Enterprises, a dynamic organization that has consistently delivered exceptional products and services to clients worldwide. His ventures have included the development and management of several high-end hotels, as well as the ownership and operation of a private radio station.
Through his unwavering commitment to excellence and his ability to build strong relationships, Kanumale has cultivated a vast network of influential contacts. His visionary leadership has propelled Kanumale Enterprises to the forefront of the industry, making it a trusted partner for businesses and individuals seeking exceptional hospitality and tourism solutions.

Growing up, I was inspired by my father’s entrepreneurial spirit, I was always tagging along with my dad, soaking up everything I could about his entrepreneurial ventures and always wanting to step into the business world. While I am pursuing a career in aviation and currently a student Pilot, my passion for business remained strong.
I’m excited to have joined Kanumale Enterprises as a Director. This company holds a special place in my heart as a family legacy. As a Director, I’m committed to driving innovation, fostering strong client relationships, and ensuring efficient operations. I look forward to contributing to the company’s continued growth and success.

With over 15 years of industry experience, I am a dedicated professional and an entrepreneur who worked in leading companies in Sri Lanka including Dialog Axiata, Axiata Digital Labs, Emjay, and the Penguin Group of Companies. I earned both undergraduate and master's degrees from the University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka, which has equipped me with a strong foundation for my career. I am passionate about leveraging my expertise to drive innovation and growth in industry.
